Choosing the right academic path and career can be one of the most important decisions in a student's life. To help students make informed and confident decisions about their future, a Guidance and Career Counselling Session was organised in the Vidyalaya for the students of Classes X, XI and XII.

The session provided students with an opportunity to explore different academic pathways, career possibilities and higher education options while encouraging them to think about their interests, abilities, aspirations and future goals.

हिंदी साहित्य की समृद्ध दुनिया से विद्यार्थियों का परिचय

हिंदी भाषा और साहित्य के प्रति विद्यार्थियों में रुचि विकसित करने तथा उन्हें पुस्तकों की समृद्ध दुनिया से जोड़ने के उद्देश्य से विद्यालय के पुस्तकालय में हिंदी पुस्तकों की प्रदर्शनी एवं पुस्तक-लेखक प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। यह गतिविधि विद्यार्थियों के लिए ज्ञान, पठन और मनोरंजन का सुंदर संगम रही।

📖 हिंदी पुस्तकों की आकर्षक प्रदर्शनी

Discovering the People Behind the Books We Read

The Readers Club organised an engaging Author Research Presentation Activity in the school library to encourage students to explore not only the books they read but also the authors behind those books. The activity provided students with an opportunity to research, discover, organise information and present interesting facts about authors before their peers.

The activity was planned with the idea that understanding an author's life, background and writing style can help readers develop a deeper appreciation of their books.

📖 From Reading the Book to Knowing the Author

As part of the activity, each member of the Readers Club was assigned the task of researching the author of the current book being read. Students were encouraged to look beyond the story and discover the person whose imagination and ideas shaped the book.

Instead of simply reading the author's name printed on the cover, students explored questions such as:

• What was the author's life journey?

At the next Readers Club meeting, students presented their research before the group.

Each student shared important information about the selected author, including date and place of birth, date of death where applicable, writing style, major books, special achievements and other interesting facts.

Students also discussed what made the author's writing unique and how the author's ideas, experiences or interests could be reflected in their books.
