 Veer Gatha 5.0 Celebration

The Library of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Sundargarh proudly organized the Veer Gatha Project 5.0, an inspiring initiative under the Gallantry Awards Portal of the Government of India, aimed at nurturing the spirit of patriotism and courage among students from Classes III to XII.

Under this event, a series of engaging and creative competitions were held in the library, including Poem Recitation, Poem Writing, Drawing Competition, Passage Writing, and Essay Writing. Each activity encouraged students to explore the extraordinary tales of bravery and sacrifice made by the gallantry award winners of our nation.

Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their creativity and heartfelt emotions while learning about the real-life heroes who displayed unparalleled courage and dedication to the nation. The library became a hub of inspiration, where stories of bravery were transformed into art, poetry, and prose.

Through Veer Gatha 5.0, the government envisions instilling in students a deep sense of national pride, respect for our armed forces, moral values, and civic responsibility. The event motivated students to reflect on qualities such as courage, integrity, duty, and selflessness—values essential for shaping responsible citizens of tomorrow.

🕊️ "A nation’s strength lies not in its weapons, but in the hearts of its brave heroes."

💭 "The courage of our soldiers teaches us that even in fear, there is strength; even in sacrifice, there is glory."

The library’s initiative successfully blended learning with patriotism, leaving a lasting impression on young minds. It was not just a celebration of bravery but also a call to every student to carry forward the values of heroism and service to the nation.
